Use the Right Polk County Office
The record holder depends on the question. The Polk County Sheriff's Office holds county jail intake records and booking photographs. A city police department may hold the incident narrative, while the courts hold the later case disposition. These routes help match the request to the correct system.

Choose the official lookup that matches the person's custody stage or the record sought:
- For current custody, check Current Inmates. A result is a reported jail status at the time checked, not a case outcome.
- For a very recent booking, use 24 Hours Arrests. This view can include a person marked released.
- For an earlier known arrest date, use Inmates by Arrest Date and set a beginning and ending date.
- For a booking sheet or booking photograph, submit a narrow request through NextRequest with the person's full name, approximate booking date, and arresting agency when known.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the official Georgia Department of Corrections offender query. GDC is Georgia Department of Corrections and is not the county jail roster.
- For the court result after booking, use the Superior Court resources above. A roster entry or release does not establish dismissal, conviction, or another disposition.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator or the ICE Online Detainee Locator, as appropriate.
